Privacy notice
This notice explains how Venice Partners Ltd handles personal information in connection with this website and with enquiries sent to me.
Who is responsible
Venice Partners Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here. It is registered in England and Wales, company number 17035879, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. For any question about privacy, email jack@venicepartners.com.
What this website collects
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising tools, and it does not load fonts or scripts from other services. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical information such as IP addresses and request logs in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.
When you contact me
If you email me, I use your name, contact details and the content of your message to reply and to manage any discussion that follows. I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where relevant, on taking steps you have asked for before entering into a contract. Email is provided by Google Workspace.
How long information is kept
I keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with the enquiry and for up to two years after the last contact. If an enquiry leads to an engagement, records of that engagement are kept for six years after it ends, in line with ordinary legal and accounting requirements.
Sharing
I do not sell personal information or use it for marketing lists. It is shared only with the providers that support this website and email, or where the law requires it. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by contractual safeguards approved under UK law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict how it is used, or object to its use. To do so, email the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
I will update this notice if these practices change.
